Hire a VetWhen you face down the enemy, it requires something of you that no amount of tussling on the gridiron or grappling in a think tank can do. Hiring a veteran is the right thing to do. If an employer has two individuals standing in front of him, and if all things are otherwise equal in terms of training, education, and resume credentials, I’d hire the vet in a heartbeat. Because guess what? He had my back, and now I’ve got his.

On May 11th I have another great opportunity to speak on behalf of the Rotary in Boerne TX. Come buy an autographed book, drink beer and eat great food! It’s a family filled fun night with bounce. Thanks to Dr. Novelli and the Halos for Heroes project, I am here today. The Magnesphere changed my life and is changing the lives of fellow wounded veterans everyday. Join me at Fort Hood on Monday and Tuesday, February 9-10, for my next book signing.  Kathreyn and I will be at the Clear Creek Post Exchange (PX) from 1000-1400 on Monday, and we’d love to meet you.  We’ll be giving away twenty tickets to a private speaking event that will occur that afternoon at the Fort Hood Resiliency Center.  On Tuesday, I’ll be speaking and signing books from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Barnes and Noble location in Harker Heights, along with my writer, Robin Overby Cox. Our goal is to support warriors and military families in the Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and surrounding area.
