Audiology Convention March 25th-27th, San Antonio TX

I will be speaking on behalf of the American Academy of Audiology on Thursday March 26th at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention center from 9-10:30 in the Grand Ballroom. I will be touching on a number of things including coping with hearing loss, reading lips, my journey through Audiology, hearing aides and San Antonio Audiology. There will be a book signing afterwards from 10:30-12:30 in exhibit halls C&D, in Siemens booth 425. The event is open to the public, so stop by!

Join me at Fort Hood on Monday and Tuesday, February 9-10, for my next book signing.  Kathreyn and I will be at the Clear Creek Post Exchange (PX) from 1000-1400 on Monday, and we’d love to meet you.  We’ll be giving away twenty tickets to a private speaking event that will occur that afternoon at the Fort Hood Resiliency Center.  On Tuesday, I’ll be speaking and signing books from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Barnes and Noble location in Harker Heights, along with my writer, Robin Overby Cox. Our goal is to support warriors and military families in the Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and surrounding area.

Golf Course Builders Association of America, Tuesday February 24th-Thursday February 26th

I am pleased to say that I will be the keynote speaker at the Golf Course Builders Association of America winter meeting  in San Antonio February 24th through the 26th. I will be discussing my perseverance through it all and how my love for the game of golf is a big part of my life and getting back to who I am.

The event will be closed for members only, but feel free to stop by afterwards to purchase an autographed copy of my book.
