Fort Hood Book Signing- February 9-10, 2015
Join me at Fort Hood on Monday and Tuesday, February 9-10, for my next book signing. Kathreyn and I will be at the Clear Creek Post Exchange (PX) from 1000-1400 on Monday, and we’d love to meet you. We’ll be giving away twenty tickets to a private speaking event that will occur that afternoon at the Fort Hood Resiliency Center. On Tuesday, I’ll be speaking and signing books from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Barnes and Noble location in Harker Heights, along with my writer, Robin Overby Cox. Our goal is to support warriors and military families in the Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and surrounding area.

Golf Course Builders Association of America, Tuesday February 24th-Thursday February 26th
I am pleased to say that I will be the keynote speaker at the Golf Course Builders Association of America winter meeting in San Antonio February 24th through the 26th. I will be discussing my perseverance through it all and how my love for the game of golf is a big part of my life and getting back to who I am.
The event will be closed for members only, but feel free to stop by afterwards to purchase an autographed copy of my book.

I was invited to spend Veteran’s Day with the team at Hallmark Channel’s daytime Emmy-nominated show, Home and Family. Hosts Cristina Ferrare and Mark Steines made me feel like I was truly at home and with family. I was able to meet one of my childhood favorites, Adam West, the famous Batman caped crusader. Actress Caterina Scorsone from Grey’s Anatomy was on the show along with the White House chefs. My buddy, Paige Hemmis, paid me the ultimate tribute in sitting by my side as I told my story and shared Steel Will with millions of viewers. The show ended with the Harris family song–made my day even more remarkable!
American 300 Tours, PBR World Finals, Oct. 25, 2014
My family and I, along with CSM Paul Bianco, were invited by American 300 Tours to Wrangler’s National Patriot Night at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, NV. American 300 is a charitable and educational organization run completely by volunteers in partnership with the Department of Defense Armed Forces Entertainment division and MWR to bring motivational programs to troops. They are committed to the theme of “Americans Honoring America’s Heroes.” We met some of the most amazing folks in the rodeo world, and were so proud to be included in this world-class event at the Thomas and Mack Center!
